Why Swami Vivekananda is our inspiration!

[ad_1]

It’s time to remember him. And with some fear. Swami Vivekananda’s birthday or National Youth Day is fast approaching. Just like a father figure, he gave us the greatest gift we could give, which is to say that he believed in us.

Personally, I think Swami Vivekananda should always be remembered for his inspiration to humanity. Swami, without a doubt, the greatest source of achievement, pride and inspiration. He taught us about unconditional love, reinforced the importance of giving back, and taught us how to be a better person.

Here is what Romain Rolland thought of him: His words (Swami Vivekananda) are great music, Beethoven-like phrases, catchy rhythms like the march of Handel’s choruses. I cannot touch his words, scattered in the pages of books, thirty years away, without feeling in my body a shiver like an electric shock. And what shocks, what transports they must have produced when, in burning words, they issued from the mouth of the hero!

On his birthday, which is fast approaching, let’s shed some light on some of his inspirational quotes.

1. 3 GOLDEN RULES of Swami Vivekananda

Who helps you, do not forget them.

Who loves you, don’t hate them.

Who believes you, do not deceive them.

2. Whatever makes you weak physically, intellectually and spiritually, reject it as poison.

3. Talk to yourself at least once a day. Otherwise, you may miss an encounter with an EXCELLENT person in this world…

4. Relationships are more important than life, but it is important that these relationships have life in them…

5. Love me or hate me, both are in my favour, if you love me I am in your heart, if you hate me I am in your mind.

6. By studying the different religions, we find that they are essentially one.

7. Where can we go to find God if we cannot see Him in our own hearts and in every living being.

8. Fill the brain with lofty thoughts, the highest ideals, set them day and night before you, and out of this will come great work.

9. We are what our thoughts have made us; so be careful what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

10. You can’t believe in God until you believe in yourself.

11. The world is the great gymnasium where we come to strengthen ourselves.

12. All the powers of the universe already belong to us. It is we who put our hands in front of our eyes and shout that it is dark.

13. When an idea exclusively occupies the mind, it transforms into a real physical or mental state.

14. Get up! Awake! and does not stop until the goal is reached.

So let us rise, grow from the inside out, with the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda. As Swami-ji said, ‘No one can teach you, no one can make you spiritual. There is no other master than your own soul.
