SHILLONG, Aug 28: Marking the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, Border Security Force (BSF) brass and jazz band Meghalaya Frontier put on a thrilling performance for the residents of the international border at Ramakrishna Mission Secondary School, Shella, East Khasi Hills on Saturday. The BSF group played many popular patriotic tunes and left the audience fascinated with the emotions of the country. More than 500 people from neighboring regions came to watch the show. It is one of many events organized by the BSF to celebrate ‘Azadi ka Amarit Mahotsav’ with the aim of spreading awareness towards national integration and evoking a sense of patriotism among the public. .
