The annual Swami Vivekananda Vidyaprasarak Mandal, Bori College of Commerce sports meet was held on Saturday 19th March. The ceremony was held at Panchayat Ground, Kalmamol. Professor Nikita Rivankar introduced the guest of honor at the function, Dr. Francis Lobo, Principal of the College of Physical Sciences and Sports, Rosary College of Commerce and Arts. Children should take a few hours out of their daily routine for physical exercise. Lobo said it would be beneficial for the future. The principal of the college, Dr. Subrahmanya Bhat, welcomed the guest and all present. The sports meeting could not take place for the past two years due to the Covid pandemic, but he assured that from now on the sports meeting will be held every year from this year. Sports director Yashodhan Kharade and assistant sports director Ashay Korde encouraged the children to play in a sporty way. Prof. Kunal Borkar moderated the whole event and Prof. Girish Kapdi thanked him.
