Ramakrishna organizes a convocation for IT trainees

The certificate distribution program for the 96th batch of IT trainees and the 36th batch of language students of the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Center was held here today.

During the program, the center awarded more than 1,300 certificates to students who excelled in both subjects. Each year, the center trains around 6,000 young people in IT subjects, spread over five sessions.

This invitation is intended for trainees of the session from July to September 2022, bringing together approximately 1,700 young people from different regions of the Northeast.

Earlier in the ceremony, the sixth issue of the trilingual electronic magazine, Kajingshai – The Light – Jyoti, was published.

The main guest, Anita Kharpor, Director of Artisan Employment and Training, praised the efforts of Ramakrishna Mission and asked students to register on her department’s online portal – https://dectmeg .nic.in/ – after completing their courses.

Addressing the students, Ramakrishna Mission Leader Swami Divyaswarupananda Maharaj, Shillong said that in any country progress is only possible with education and the dawn of knowledge.
