CSVTU will hold an online exam for the last semester

A notice to this effect has been issued by the University Registrar. This decision by the university administration caused a wave of happiness on the faces of hundreds of students, for whom they had been fighting for several days. According to the notification, BE 7th semester backlog, BE 8th semester regular and backlog, B Pharmacy 7th semester backlog, regular 8th semester Pharmacy B students and backlog taking exams from April to May 2022 will be conducted online. The Registrar has sent a copy of the notification to all CSVTU Affiliated Universities, the Deputy Registrar (Administration), the Chief Financial Officer and all relevant officials including the Controller of Examinations. Over the past few days, students led by the National Students Union of India (NSUI) had lobbied the university administration to apply for an online exam. The students rallied for their request and submitted a memorandum to the CSVTU Registrar, KK Verma. In which it was pointed out that due to the effect of the Corona epidemic, the courses of most colleges have been delivered through online medium. That either at full capacity, in the six-month academic session, only two months of study took place, that too half-heartedly. Moreover, in many colleges, neither the hostel facility has been restored nor the availability of faculties has been ensured. Due to which the studies were badly affected. After considering all these things, the university administration finally decided to take the exams in online mode.
