Rajamahendravaram (East Godavari District): Maharishi Aurobindo’s 150th birthday program was held at Rajahmundry Central Jail under the auspices of Sri Ramakrishna Mission. This program was organized within the framework of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in collaboration with the Central Cultural Department. The speakers explained the patriotism of the spiritual masters who showed Indian cultural and religious glory to the world. Swami Vinishchalananda of Ramakrishna Mission said that the teachings and scriptures of Swami Vivekananda will help reform those who have become criminals and are serving time due to momentary passions and emotions. Swami Prajna Nathanandaji sang patriotic songs written by Swami Vivekananda.
